About Me

Welcome to my professional portfolio! I'm Gus Ford, a Dallas native with 18 years of experience as a Talent Acquisition Leader and marketing professional. I earned a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Business Management and Marketing from Texas A&M University-Commerce before transitioning from academia to the corporate world.

I enjoy tackling the toughest of challenges, coaching and developing teams, and driving creative solutions to exceed  expectations and make the most impact. I've had the privilege to lead innovative TA strategy for global recruiting teams to attract, engage and hire top talent across multiple industries. My experience has been developed at Fortune 500 companies in tech, a financial services startup, and in top brands across consulting and professional services firms.

On a personal note, I am a family man that enjoys exploring and taking in new experiences of all sorts. Whether it is learning American Sign Language (ASL), road trips across the country, or taking on the challenge of solving a Rubik's Cube in under 90 seconds, I am always on a path to becoming a more well rounded human and professional.

Joined to lead the global Talent Acquisition organization and new hire engagement strategy as the company transitioned from RPO model to  a new in-house model for delivering and on-boarding top talent.

I had the challenge and goal of reimagining a nearly 100-year old brand well known for global management consulting, and shaping a new narrative for tech talent. Designed and integrated digital marketing, social media and internal communications strategy to enrich our employer brand and attract top tech talent for McKinsey Digital and QuantumBlack.

  • Lead cross functional teams to enhance engagement on priority channels including careers website, social, events & scaling our content development strategy for recruitment marketing. 

  • Own priorities and roadmap to drive execution towards hiring goals and lead highly productive remote teams.

  • Active member of our Talent Attraction leadership team as well as our Tech Center of Excellence where we drive overall strategy, define priorities and support each other as we coach and develop our teams.
